Find quick answers about ordering, shipping, product selection, sizing, returns and Osaka Canada account programs. If you still need help, email info@osakaworldcanada.com.
Theme 1: Ordering, Pricing & Payment
Are you the official Canadian Osaka store?
Yes. Osakaworld Sports Canada is the home of Osaka products in Canada. You can order directly from us online or shop through one of our official Canadian Osaka distributors.
Are your prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Prices on our website are listed in Canadian dollars. Applicable Canadian sales taxes are calculated at checkout based on the order and delivery location.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major payment methods available through our Shopify checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. The options available to you will appear at checkout.
How do I use a discount code?
Enter your code in the discount-code field during checkout and select Apply. The discount will appear before you complete payment if the order is eligible. Some codes apply only to specific products, customers or programs and cannot be applied after an order has been completed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as possible at info@osakaworldcanada.com. We can cancel a non-customized order at no charge if it has not shipped. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it may need to follow our regular return process. Customized orders enter production quickly and cannot normally be changed or cancelled.
Can I buy an Osaka gift card?
Yes. Digital gift cards are available through our online store and can be used at checkout. Gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Theme 2: Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within Canada only. Customers outside Canada should purchase through the official Osaka store or dealer serving their region.
How quickly will my order ship?
Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days. Processing may take a little longer during promotions, pop-up events and other busy periods. You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number when your order leaves us.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery normally takes 2–9 business days, depending on your location. Expedited delivery normally takes 1–3 business days. Remote locations may take longer. These are estimates and can be affected by weather, carrier disruptions and peak shipping periods.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination, order size and service selected. We offer free Canada-wide shipping on qualifying orders over $150 before tax. Exceptions may apply and the available rate will be confirmed at checkout.
Do you offer local Vancouver delivery?
Yes. Local delivery is available within the City of Vancouver and within 8 km of our postal address. Rates start at $6, and delivery is normally completed within 1–2 business days. Select Local Delivery at checkout when it is available for your address.
Can I pick up my order?
Pickup may be available by prior arrangement, including at selected Osaka pop-up events and field hockey venues. We do not operate a walk-in retail store, so please contact us before coming to collect an order. Our return mailing address is not an automatic pickup location.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
We use carriers such as UPS, Purolator and Canada Post. The carrier and service depend on your destination, package and selected shipping option.
Why has my tracking information not updated?
Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for the carrier’s tracking system to update. If the shipment remains unchanged or appears significantly delayed, email us and we will help open an investigation with the carrier.
What happens if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Contact us immediately. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays, returns to sender or additional carrier charges. If the order has already shipped, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to redirect it.
Theme 3: Pre-Orders & Product Availability
What does PRE-ORDER or ARRIVING SOON mean?
The product is not currently available for immediate shipment, but incoming stock has been ordered and the item can be reserved. Any expected arrival date shown is an estimate and may change because of international freight, customs clearance or other circumstances outside our control.
When will my pre-order ship?
Your pre-order will be prepared after the product reaches our Canadian inventory. We will send tracking details once it ships. If the expected timing changes materially, we will provide an update using the contact details on the order.
What happens if my order contains both in-stock and pre-order items?
If you need the in-stock items before the pre-order arrives, please contact us before ordering. We can confirm whether split shipping is available and whether an additional shipping charge would apply.
Can you tell me when a sold-out item returns?
Yes. Use the back-in-stock option on the product page when available, subscribe to our emails, or contact us with the exact product, colour and size. We can share the latest estimated arrival information when it is available.
Theme 4: Sticks, Shoes, Protective Equipment & Sizing
How do I choose the correct hockey-stick length?
Player height is a useful starting point. Junior sticks generally range from 28 to 35 inches, while senior sticks start at 36.5 inches. Most players from 5'0" to 5'11" use 36.5 inches, and players from 5'11" to 6'4" often use 37.5 inches. Technique and personal preference also matter. See our complete Osaka Stick Guide or contact us for help.
Which carbon level should I choose?
Lower-carbon sticks are more flexible and forgiving, making them helpful for developing players. Mid-range carbon provides a balance of touch and power. High-carbon and 100% carbon sticks are stiffer and provide greater energy transfer for experienced players with established control and technique. Our Stick Guide explains the full progression.
Which Osaka bow should I choose?
Grow Bow and Mid Bow shapes favour control, passing and hitting. Pro Bow is a versatile option for first touch, passing and technical play. Advanced Low Bow and Low Bow suit players who use aerials, drag-flicking and 3D skills. Proto Bow, XTR Bow and Low Groove are more specialized shapes for advanced attacking and penalty-corner skills. Your technique and playing style matter more than position alone.
How do Osaka hockey shoes fit?
Osaka hockey footwear has a performance fit and can feel snug. Many customers prefer going up half a size, particularly when between sizes or when wearing thicker hockey socks. Fit can vary by model and foot shape, so review the product details or contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
How do I choose a shinguard size?
Measure from just below the kneecap to the top of the ankle bone. The shinguard should cover most of the shin without restricting the knee or ankle. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for greater coverage. See the full Shinguard Size Guide.
How do I choose a glove size?
Measure the hand and compare it with the measurements for the specific Osaka glove model. Armadillo, Tekko, Yoroi and indoor gloves have different dimensions, so do not assume the same size across every model. See our Glove Size Guide.
How does Osaka clothing fit?
Use your body measurements and compare them with our Clothing Size Guide. Unisex products have a straighter, boxier fit. Women choosing a unisex item may prefer one size smaller than their usual women’s size.
Theme 5: Returns, Exchanges & Warranty
What is your return and exchange policy?
Unused products may be returned for a refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt. Items must be in their original condition with all packaging and labels. Email info@osakaworldcanada.com with your order information before sending anything back.
Who pays for return shipping?
The customer is responsible for return shipping unless we sent an incorrect item or the product is confirmed to be faulty. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your shipping receipt. The item must be shipped back within 30 days after the return request is opened.
Are any products excluded from returns?
Gift cards and products marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged. Unauthorized returns may be refused. Please review our complete Returns, Cancellations & Warranty Policy before sending an item.
Will any amount be deducted from my refund?
Original shipping charges are not refundable. If a returned order originally qualified for free shipping but the retained items fall below the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. A $20 restocking fee also applies under the published return policy.
What warranty is included?
Hockey sticks include a six-month warranty for factory defects. Shoes, clothing and accessories include a three-month guarantee for manufacturing faults arising through normal use. Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos before returning a product.
What is not covered by the hockey-stick warranty?
Normal wear and tear is not a factory defect. This includes chips, dents or damage from stick contact or other impacts; scratches and abrasions; worn grip tape; loose or missing end caps; and rattles or noises that develop during play. Damage caused by misuse or abuse is also excluded.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect?
Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos of the item and packaging. Please keep all packaging while we review the claim.
Where do I send an approved return?
Approved returns should be addressed to:
Osaka World Returns
525-2912 West Broadway
Vancouver, BC V6K 0E6
Please contact us before shipping your return. This is a return mailing location and not a walk-in retail store.
Theme 6: School, Club, Wholesale & Athlete Accounts
Do you offer accounts for schools, clubs and universities?
Yes. Approved organizations can access a dedicated purchase portal with eligible account pricing. Complete the application on our Club, School & University Account page. Once approved, sign in with the email connected to the account to view available products and pricing.
Do you supply team uniforms and school equipment packages?
Yes. We offer field-hockey-specific team uniforms and equipment options for schools, clubs and universities. Visit our Team Uniforms and School Equipment Packages pages, or email us to discuss quantities, timelines and customization.
How do I apply for a wholesale account?
Sporting-goods retailers interested in reselling Osaka products in Canada can apply through our wholesale account page. Applications are reviewed before access and wholesale pricing are activated.
Where can I buy Osaka products in person?
We do not operate a walk-in retail store, but Osaka products are available from selected Canadian retail partners and at some Osaka pop-up events. Check our Official Canadian Osaka Distributors page or contact the retailer directly to confirm current stock before visiting.
How do Osaka athlete and ambassador accounts work?
Approved Osaka Canada athletes and ambassadors must register using the athlete account process and order while signed in to the approved account. Program pricing and personal community codes apply only according to the athlete’s agreement and eligible products. Athlete gear is for personal use and is not for resale.
I have an approved account, but I cannot see my pricing. What should I do?
Confirm that you are signed in using the same email address used for your approved account. If pricing still does not appear, email us with your name, organization and account email so we can check your access.
