Osaka Field Hockey Shinguard Sizing Guide

Choosing the right shin guard ensures optimal protection and comfort on the field. Use this guide to measure properly, understand fit, and select the right size for your height.

How to Measure for Hockey Shin Guards

  1. Measure Your Shin Length
Sit with your leg bent at a 90-degree angle. Measure from just below your kneecap to the top of your ankle bone. This measurement gives you the ideal shin guard length.
  2. Aim for Full Coverage
Shin guards should cover most of the shin—from just under the knee to just above the ankle—for maximum protection.
  3. Use the Size Chart
Compare your measurement to the sizing chart to determine the right size.
  4. Check the Fit
The shin guard should be snug but comfortable, staying in place during play without restricting movement.
  5. When in Doubt, Size Up
If you're between sizes or unsure, go with the larger size to ensure proper coverage and comfort.
